Chris Poon is an experienced hairstylist who has been in the industry for over 20 years. He starts his career in high-end salons in both Vancouver and Hong Kong, where he worked with top industry stylists and achieved his proficiency. Chris is highly experienced in all hair services and techniques, specializes in hair colouring, balayage, and keratin treatments. He speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

I booked a cut, color, and keratin and it was a wonderful experience. Chris truly listens, is very knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain things so I felt comfortable each step of the process. He is committed to every detail down to using silicone ear covers to protect me from heat and the salon also has the horizontal hair washer instead of a chair (much more comfortable!) I have never had such a meticulous stylist and it shows in the outcome. Chris’s assistant Claire is also lovely and they both were great company in the 6+ hours I was there. Overall, very professional and amazing customer service. I live in Seattle, but I will be back.

Had my first “spa” experience at Urban Oasis and it exceeded my expectations. The decor of the shop was very impressive; very different from any salon I have ever been to. I enjoyed the privacy of the individual rooms. Naomi did a great job in giving me a relaxing shampoo. Christopher is obviously a experienced stylist as he paid so much attention to details and gave me a great hair cut.
